Karen Scott May is the Founder and Principal Consultant of Blue Dragonfly Governance, where she helps organizations strengthen technology governance, improve internal controls, and navigate complex audit and compliance demands with clarity and confidence.

She brings more than 25 years of enterprise technology experience and nearly a decade of leadership in IT audit, SOX, and technology risk within complex, regulated environments.

Business Operations Manager

Brianna supports the day-to-day operations of Blue Dragonfly Governance, helping ensure the business runs smoothly behind the scenes so client engagements remain organized, responsive, and professional.

Her role includes client communications, invoicing, scheduling, marketing support, website and social media upkeep, and coordination of administrative processes that keep the firm moving forward. With a strong eye for detail and a collaborative approach, Brianna plays an important role in creating a polished and positive client experience from kickoff through closeout.

Summer IT Audit & Governance Intern

Alix joins Blue Dragonfly Governance as a Summer IT Audit & Governance Intern while studying at the University of Tennessee.

As an Innovative Transdisciplinary Studies major, Alix is building a unique academic foundation that combines artificial intelligence, AI applications in healthcare, and human-computer interaction. Having already completed coursework in human-computer interaction, Alix brings an especially thoughtful perspective on how people engage with emerging technologies.

At Blue Dragonfly Governance, Alix supports research, documentation, and analysis related to IT audit, governance, and technology risk, with a particular interest in the evolving relationship between innovation, usability, and responsible oversight.
